Christian Nationalism and religiosity or being Christian are not tightly linked even if they may seem the same from the outside. But CN sometimes moves in the opposite direction as being Christian.
- The more Christian you are the more accepting you are of Muslims. The more CN you are the less so.
- Both oppose gay marriage, but for different reasons and to different policies.
